Okay ladies (and gents), now is when I’m going to be flat out mean and make you all jealous! Backlot had the pleasure of interviewing Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and of The Voice. On set, Dana got a behind the scenes sneak peak of their brand new music video for their new song called “Payphone” featuring Wiz Khalifa. Is This Love? Backlot Finds Out At The Bob Marley Movie Premiere!
Dana just stepped off the red carpet of the Bob Marley movie premiere! She was pleasantly surprised with all the celebrity support for this movie. Snoop Dogg, Jane Fonda, Rosario Dawson, and Holly Robinson Peete were only some amongst many celebrities to walk the carpet. The film is meant to depict the struggles Bob Marley had to endure as a child living in the slums of Jamaica. It’s an inspiring story of how Bob went from starving and poor to eventually become a musical legend, leaving behind a legacy that will continue on to future generations.

Cryotherapy – The Most Buzzed About Remedy Treatment Amongst the Stars
Today Dana shot a segment for Extra with some of her favorite Dancing with the Stars celebrities and professional dancers. Amongst the ones Dana interviewed were Maria Menounos, Derek Hough, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Mark Ballas and many more! The shoot was about a new treatment that professional and celebrity dancers are using called cryotherapy. All the rage in Hollywood right now, cryotherapy is a medical therapy using low temperatures to remove heat from specific body parts. In honor of The Red Hot Chili Peppers' induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we got former "Micro Machines Man" John Moschitta, Jr to give fans their long and winding history in just 79 seconds. This was one of the most entertaining shoots we have EVER done! Not going to lie, it wasn’t easy keeping up with him, but it sure was interesting!

Backlot Attends The Long Beach Grand Prix Event
April 13th - 15th was the 38th anniversary of the Long Beach Grand Prix. This year, the event was packed with racing stars such as Scott Dixon, Marco Andretti and Graham Rahal. Dana attended the event alongside her friends from Tecate to shoot both the race and the Miss Tecate pageant. Stephani Costanza, a 24 year-old special effects makeup artist snagged first place as the official Miss Tecate of 2012. Dana especially loved the performance by Pat Benetar.
